My name is Benjamin.

I first became interested in lost ski areas in 2015 when I first visited the former Wintergreen ski area in Bragg Creek, Alberta. Walking around the ruins of a former ski area ignited something in me. I wanted to learn more: why did this place close? Who built it? Who skied there?

It is my personal passion to uncover such stories of the lost ski areas across North America. I am most interested in what was the ultimate cause of demise. Was it a long, slow drawn out death? Or was it one quick disaster which spelled the end for the mountain?

My Lost Resort videos aim to tell the broad story of the mountain. I try to research and produce videos as fast as I can, however, full-time university studies keeps me fairly busy.
